Giving birth in Canada

The child is a citizen from birth. This has no effect on your status whatsoever

A child born in Canada becomes a citizen at the moment of birth — regardless of the parents’ status. There are no restrictions on travelling for the purpose of r births is absent from the law. And right away on the key point that half the market stays silent about: this has no effect on the parents’ status whatsoever. Your child will be able to sponsor you from the age of eighteen, and the process is slow and competitive. This direction is led by our partner in Toronto: they have their own pricing, and the birth, doctor and interpreter are included in the package price, not charged on top.

Who it suits. For couples who want to give their child Canadian citizenship and understand that this is about the child.

What is included

  • We prepare the documents and handle your Canadian visa application
  • We advise and help you prepare for arrival: what to sort out before you fly and what to bring
  • We find the hospital — one day of selection included in the price
  • We find a doctor who works directly with the company; the doctor’s fee is included in the package price
  • Giving birth at a Toronto hospital with a medical interpreter by your side — from the moment of admission
  • We obtain a Canadian birth certificate and passport for the child
  • We help with documents in the country where you live

What the package does not include

Paid separately and directly, with no markup from us.

  • Tax: 13 % HST is added on top of the package price. The partner states this clearly in the rate card, and we repeat it here — Economy comes to around $19,100 including tax
  • Caesarean section: $5,000–$7,500. Not included in any plan
  • Neonatology, if needed — $3,000–4,000; an extra day in hospital — the same
  • Apartment rent: the search itself is included in the Optimal and Comfort packages; the rent itself is not. One-bedroom from $2,000 per month
  • Your status: having a child does not change it or give you the right to stay
  • Sponsoring parents: a child can only apply on your behalf from the age of eighteen, and the process is competitive.
  • Promises of a visa: the decision rests with the authority
  • Flight and insurance
Documents for a Canadian visa can no longer be sent from Russia

Since 28 January 2026, Canadian visa application centres in Russia are not accepting documents and passports: biometrics can be submitted, but the full package cannot, and the immigration office in Moscow is closed. Applications are submitted from a third country — the nearest centres are in Yerevan, Almaty and Astana. We handle this entirely: we select the country of application, we book the biometrics appointment, see the application through to submission, and return your passport. We have people on the ground there — an existing network, not a promise.

We say this before payment, not after: it is the child who receives Canadian citizenship. It gives the parents neither status, nor the right of entry, nor any acceleration on any another programme. A child can apply on behalf of their parents from the age of eighteen.

Prices here are partner rates and in US dollars, not Canadian, unlike the rest of the page. A 13% HST is added on top — this is stated in the partner’s price list, and we we repeat this on the listing so the tax doesn’t come as a surprise at the end.

Deliveries take place in Toronto. Hospitals: Humber River, Southlake Regional Health Centre, Mount Sinai.

If you have personal insurance that covers childbirth in Canada, 55% of expenses are reimbursed through it. This is a reimbursement, not a discount: the price package price is not discounted by the partner, and refunds come from your insurer, not from us. Ask your company whether your policy covers childbirth abroad before how to choose a plan — on that kind of sum the difference is noticeable.

Timing matters enormously — and that is not a figure of speech. Doctors recommend arriving at 32–36 week; flying after week 37 is not recommended. The hospital and doctor are booked over four months: submitting after three months incurs a surcharge of $600–900. The visa process should be started two to six months in advance: according to our partner’s data, in 2023, 21% of families did not came specifically to give birth because they had not managed to obtain it.
