What the package does not include

In 2026, Armenia stopped issuing five-year residence permits to entrepreneurs for residence: an annual permit remains, and it must be renewed every year, confirming that the business is active. Three years to citizenship — that’s three consecutive renewals. And from 1 November 2026, the company owner will need share capital from 2,000,000 AMD — about $5,200. Both figures we name before payment: for those going through the company, after this date the entry cost rises by exactly that amount.
⚠️ About the bank account, we will be direct, because in August 2026 this has changed. The Central Bank of Armenia on 13 August 2026 instructed banks to comply with sanctions restrictions against Russia, and refusals Russian citizens faced difficulties opening accounts even before that. An Armenian bank no longer an automatic option: we verify a specific bank before you start work, and we make no promises about opening an account — that decision rests with the bank.
Recommended waiting period before applying — 2–3 months after registration, so that the business has a turnover: filing ’the next day’ results in rejection. The decision arrives by email, after which you book your biometrics appointment and receiving the card.
