In Armenia, renewal is annual, and the three years to citizenship mean three consecutive renewals. This is precisely where people most often lose their timeline: the business went a year with no turnover and there is nothing to demonstrate.

What the package does not include

In 2026, Armenia stopped issuing five-year residence permits to entrepreneurs for residence: an annual permit remains, and it must be renewed every year, confirming that the business is active. Three years to citizenship — that’s three consecutive renewals. And from 1 November 2026, the company owner will need share capital from 2,000,000 AMD — about $5,200. Both figures we name before payment: for those going through the company, after this date the entry cost rises by exactly that amount.
