Passport in two years

Naturalization at Migraciones — and the two years you need to prove

Argentina is the only country in our network where a passport can be obtained within a period, and not for money: two years of legal residence — and naturalization. Not ten years like in Spain, and not ’never’ like in the UAE. But from May 2025 matters were taken away from the courts and handed to Migraciones, and the timeline is now counted strictly: two consecutive years of legal residency are required. Precaria does not count. Tourist 90 days do not count. Departures break continuity. We are not selling a promise; we are selling management of these two years.

Who it suits. For those genuinely prepared to live in the country for two years: remote workers with passive income, families after childbirth, those who have already obtained residency and does not want to lose the deadline over something trivial.

What is included

  • We run the two-year counter and prove it: we make sure the clock is genuinely ticking — precaria and tourist 90-day stays do not count toward it, and departures reset the clock continuity
  • We compile a continuity evidence file in advance: lease agreement, utility bills, bank, entry and exit stamps — Migraciones decides based on documents, not words
  • We manage your case for the full two years: reminding you about renewals, tracking exits, and keeping evidence on file
  • We prepare and submit the naturalisation application online through Migraciones
  • We guide you through to the Carta de Ciudadanía and your first DNI as a citizen
  • We check criminal history and financial standing in advance — the authority looks at both

What the package does not include

Paid separately and directly, with no markup from us.

  • Citizenship by investment: a framework was created by Decrees 366/2025 and 524/2025, but the threshold has not been published and the programme is not operational — we do not sell it
  • Citizenship through the courts: from 2025, cases are handled by Migraciones, not judges
  • Shorter timeline through marriage or parenthood: from 2025, two years are mandatory for everyone
  • Promises of a processing timeline: since cases were transferred to the authority, there is no consistent practice
  • Residence in person: two years must be lived there yourself, and no workaround can replace that
The two years start not from the day you land, but from the date of residency

In May 2025, decree 366/2025 transferred citizenship cases from the courts and handed them Migraciones, and at the same time tightened the residency clock: two years of legal residence in a row. A precaria, under which a person lives while their application is being reviewed eir case — that period is not counted. The tourist 90 days are not counted either. Departures break continuity. We have tracked this counter from day one and we gather evidence in advance: rental agreement, utility bills, bank records, entry stamps o entries and exits — because the decision rests with the authorities reviewing the paperwork, not word by word. Parts of the decree are being challenged in courts, and we work in a way that your stay was provable regardless of the outcome.

In May 2025, decree 366/2025 transferred citizenship cases from the courts to Migraciones, and at the same time tightened the residency clock: two consecutive years of legal residence are required. Precaria, under which a person lives while their case is being reviewed; during this period does not count. Nor do tourist 90-day stays. We track the count from day one and gather evidence in advance, because the authority decides on the basis of documents, not words.

Decree 366/2025 is being contested: one first-instance ruling and two appellate courts declared parts of the decree unconstitutional — primarily regarding restrictions for parents of Argentine-born children. Migraciones practice in such cases follows the decree. That’s why we make no promises of ’everything as before’ or ’the door is closed’ — we simply work the way so that your period of stay is provable under any outcome.
