Packages in Hong Kong
A set of services for one moment in life — cheaper than the same services separately. The contents of each package are itemised line by line, prices in dollars and are final. We do not hide government fees inside and we do not mark them up: they are modest in Hong Kong — HKD 230 for a visa and renewal, the initial identity document is free — are listed as separate figures and paid directly to the authority.
Russian nationals enter Hong Kong visa-free for 14 days. Entry is free — and that is exactly where people lose money. A long-term visa is processed before entry: a tourist already in Hong Kong cannot change their status on the spot. Coming for a scouting trip and applying from abroad won’t work, and leaving for a day trip to a neighbouring city and back — the border officer notices and asks questions. We work out this calendar before you buy your first ticket.
The second thing the market doesn’t tell you: permanent status in Hong Kong is granted after seven years of continuous ordinary residence, and that period resets easy. Time spent as a tourist does not count, time as a dependent or student — goes on, and any gap between visas resets the time already served. The Talent Visa for 24 months does not renew itself: to renew, you must show employment or your own business, and someone who arrives and doesn’t settle loses two years. Proving seven years will require lease agreements, tax files and bank statements that are impossible to find by year seven — they need to be collected from the start, not recalled at the end.

Staying long-term: Hong Kong status and visa
A visa with the right to live and work, an HKID, and the first year of the seven-year countdown
Hong Kong does not issue a ’residence permit’ in the European sense. It issues a visa with the right to residence and work, accompanied by an HKID identity card, and after seven years of continuous residence grants the right to residence and permanent status. There are four routes, and which one is yours is decided before filing, not after denials. We manage the entire submission.
- ⚠️ We verify the essentials before any money changes hands: fly in on a visa-free 14-day stay and arrange status on the spot is not possible. A long-term Hong Kong visa must be arranged before entry, and being a tourist within the country does not change one’s status
- We identify the right scheme: TTPS — 24 months without an employer, GEP — tied to a job offer employer, QMAS — points-based. The scheme determines both the cost and the timeline, and what you will have to prove
- We identify the right TTPS category: A — income of HKD 2.5 million or more in the year before applying, B — a university degree from the approved list plus three years of experience in the past five, C — a degree with no experience required, annual quota of 10,000. Getting the category wrong will cost you months, and we check it before submission — not after a rejection
- We check your university and program against the Immigration Department’s lists, including the updated list of 60 professions effective 1 March 2025

First documents: HKID and account
Identity document, tax file, bank account — and the paperwork that will matter seven years from now
Status secured — now comes everyday life, which in Hong Kong is organized quickly and firmly: identity document, tax file, bank account, Octopus. We do this within one week and along the way explain which of these documents will, seven years from now, serve as proof of ordinary residence — you need to start keeping them from day one.
- We book your Immigration Department appointment and prepare the full package
- We accompany you to submit biometrics
- We receive the card and verify the details before you leave the office
- We explain which events count toward your seven-year ordinary residency clock residence, what does and does not count, and which documents to start keeping from the first day

I’m heading to Hong Kong
Route and file review — before you buy your ticket
You cannot fly to Hong Kong and register on arrival. That means all the work is done in advance: which of the four pathways is available to you, and what in your case will be grounds for rejection, and how much the first year will cost. This is a two-hour conversation with a written plan, not general advice.
- ⚠️ We verify the essentials before any money changes hands: fly in on a visa-free 14-day stay and arrange status on the spot is not possible. A long-term Hong Kong visa must be arranged before entry, and being a tourist within the country does not change one’s status
- We review your situation: which of the four routes are open to you and which is cheaper in money and in time
- We tell you exactly what will be the reason for rejection in your case
- We calculate the first-year estimate: housing, insurance, school, taxes
- and also 1

Your own company in Hong Kong
Turnkey registration — and, if needed, the right status for your business
A company in Hong Kong is registered in one to five business days and entirely remotely. Then comes what people usually don’t talk about: a resident secretary required by law, audit is mandatory for all — including dormant and zero-activity companies companies — while a bank account is opened by the bank, and that takes 4–8 weeks without guarantees. We list all annual costs before you pay a thing for registration.
- We verify and reserve the name
- We prepare the incorporation documents: Articles of Association, form NNC1
- We file with the Companies Registry
- We obtain the Certificate of Incorporation and Business Registration Certificate
- and also 5

First week in Hong Kong
Government offices, bank, housing — day by day

- A call before departure and a day-by-day action list
- A guide to the offices: where and how to get your HKID, Octopus card, and SIM
- We match districts to your budget
- We are available all week for any question

Moving as a whole family
Flat rate for the family — and a filing that saves on fees
Status for the primary applicant and dependent visas for spouse and children. In Hong Kong, it is more efficient to do this in a single application: when submitted simultaneously, submission, no dependent fee is charged at all. And each family member from day one runs its own seven-year clock — time spent as a dependent counts toward the required period.
- ⚠️ We verify the essentials before any money changes hands: fly in on a visa-free 14-day stay and arrange status on the spot is not possible. A long-term Hong Kong visa must be arranged before entry, and being a tourist within the country does not change one’s status
- Primary status for the applicant under the selected scheme
- Dependent visas for a spouse and children under 18
- HKID for all family members
- and also 3

Hong Kong permanent resident
The right of abode after seven years — and the honest ceiling of that path
The top of Hong Kong’s ladder — the right of abode: permanent ID card, work without a permit, free change of employer and the right to remain in Hong Kong without a visa. It is granted to t those who have lived here for seven continuous years. We track this period from year one and gather the evidence that will be needed in year seven no longer available.
- We check your period: what counts toward the total and what doesn’t
- We compile proof of habitual residence: lease agreements, tax files, bank statements, children’s school records
- We prepare and submit the application for permanent status
- We manage the process through to your permanent identity document
- and also 1

Renewing status
And I make sure the seven-year clock doesn’t get broken
In Hong Kong, renewal is no formality. TTPS grants 24 months without employer, but it is renewed only for those who demonstrated employment or your own business. And the gap between visas breaks the continuity of residence and resets the years you have already lived there. We monitor tracking dates and maintaining a dossier.
- We check what you have to support your basis
- We compile the set and submit
- We manage the process through to a decision
- We check whether your seven-year clock has been broken

Buying property in Hong Kong
Transaction and duties calculated before signing

Half of the Russian-language articles on this topic don’t know it yet and quotes fifteen percent. We calculate the actual duty before signing and see the transaction through to registration.
- We find properties to match your goals and budget
- We verify title and encumbrances
- We verify the developer or seller
- We negotiate the price
- and also 2

Refusal, overstay, urgent
We’ll analyse the situation and give you a figure before you pay anything
An Immigration Department refusal, overstayed permit, incorrect the chosen category, questions at the border, a broken clock residence. In such cases a Hong Kong solicitor handles the work, and the fee cannot be named in advance — but it can be named before you paid something.
- We review what happened and how much time you have left
- We find a Hong Kong solicitor suited to your situation
- We quote the amount before work begins
- We stay in touch and handle correspondence translation

A child born in Hong Kong: getting the documents in order
Certificate, visa, HKID — and the child’s own record
Being born in Hong Kong does not, by itself, grant the child anything. The right for residence is granted to a child who has at least one parent who is a a permanent resident, and only until age 21. A child of parents without permanent status goes as a dependent and runs their own your own seven-year clock. We handle the paperwork already r the newborn.
- Birth certificate
- Dependent visa for a child
- HKID for a child upon reaching the required age
- We start the child’s own seven-year residency clock
- and also 1

The child is starting school
Finding a programme and applying — the process should start a year in advance

- We assess which schools you can apply to given your current status
- We shortlist 5–7 options to match your budget and neighbourhood
- Comparing programs
- We draw up a submission timeline

How Hong Kong differs from the fourteen countries where we already work
- People come here to work, not to live. In all other countries, a person relocates and settles in. In Hong Kong he arrives with a clear goal: an offer, his own business, a bank account, school for the child. That is why status sits at the top of the priority list and documents, not ’I’m planning to leave,’ and we won’t waste your time talking about emigration.
- Entry is free; legal status is not. A Russian national enters visa-free for 14 days. However, the visa-free entry does not convert into long-term status from within: the visa obtained before departure, while a tourist already in Hong Kong status on the spot cannot be changed. This is the most expensive mistake in the country, and it is worth the flight.
- Permanent status takes seven years, and the timeline is counted strictly. Time spent as a tourist does not count toward it; time as a dependent or student — goes on, and any gap between visas resets the time already served. The Talent Visa for 24 months does not renew itself: renewal requires show work or a business of their own. We maintain this counter from year one and gather the evidence that will be needed in year seven no longer available.
- There is no Hong Kong passport for foreigners. The SAR passport is issued only to PRC citizens. After seven years of residence, a foreigner obtains the right to reside and permanent ID card: work without a permit, free change of employer, the right to remain without a visa. For travel, they are issued a travel document, not a passport. We state this in the very first line, and not in a footnote.
- The main hurdle is not your status — it’s the bank. Owning a Hong Kong company and obtaining status as a Russian citizen possible: Hong Kong did not join the Western sanctions. But banks here they are international and apply their own compliance: r Russian passport is not on the simplified-opening lists, remotely to a new client in 2026 is practically do not open accounts, and incoming transfers from Russia are scrutinised closely. The key that changes everything — the HKID identity card: with it, an account is opened as a resident. That is why our process is one path: status and HKID first, then the bank.
- There is no birthright citizenship here, and giving birth locally changes nothing. Being born in Hong Kong does not, by itself, grant the child anything. The right of abode is granted to a child who has at least one r parent is a permanent resident, and even then only until age 21. We handle documents for the newborn and register them on their own seven-year clock.
- When buying property, foreigners pay exactly the same as locals. Since 28 February 2024, the surcharges for non-residents have been abolished entirely. Half of the articles online don’t know it yet and quotes fifteen percent. We calculate the actual duty before signing.
- We charge for ongoing management, not for the submission itself. You can submit the documents yourself — the complexity starts after that: agency requests, category, timelines, submission of additional documents. Our price — for handling the case through to a result, and this difference we explain before payment.
