Documents on exit
What all of this is ultimately for
There are plenty of online schools, but almost none issue proper credentials. This one issues two, and those are precisely what the admissions office requests.
High School Diploma
An American school leaving certificate. Issued after grade 12 and four final exams — taken online and in Russian.
Official Transcript
Transcript for grades 9–12: marks, instructional hours, credits, and GPA. Without it, the diploma in the admissions office is nearly useless — programmes are compared precisely by it.
How enrolment works
You pay after seeing the school from the inside
The entire funnel is free: both our consultation and the assessment level of knowledge, and trial days in class.
Consultation
We review the situation: year group, country, time zone, and what the local school offers. We tell you which format suits — and if none of them do, we say that too.
Free testing
Online, about two hours: mathematics, Russian, English, and an elective subject. Results on the same day — from which you can see which year group to enrol the child into.
Trial days or an entrance test
Online — two days in the chosen class, so the child can meet the teachers. Homeschool — an entrance test covering the previous year’s curriculum, with a passing score of 60 out of 100.
Online contract
Contract with the school, no visits or paperwork by post.
Payment and getting started
Membership fee and first payment. After that — the academic year.
FAQ
Parents’ frequently asked questions
Will the child receive a real American diploma?
Yes. The outcome is a High School Diploma and an Official Transcript from a private school registered in the state of Texas and accredited by ACSI. With these documents enroll in universities and colleges in Europe and the US.
What language are classes and exams conducted in?
The curriculum and lessons are in Russian. There are four final exams: mathematics and English mandatory, two of your choice. Taken in Russian and entirely online.
Can it be combined with a local school?
Yes, that is exactly what Homeschool is for: the child continues attending the local school, and follows the American curriculum at their own pace, with assessments twice a year.
What time zone are the lessons held in?
The school operates on a fixed schedule, so the exact time for your time zone is something we confirm at the consultation — before payment and before any testing. We will not promise ’works for everyone’: families in America and Asia — Online is not always the right fit, and in that case the honest answer is Homeschool.
What documents are required?
Report card or certificate of enrolment for the previous school year and birth certificate or child’s passport. If your documents are still in Russia, Belarus, or Ukraine — we’ll arrange iven with apostille and certified translation — that is a separate SVOY service.
Can you enrol mid-year?
The main intake is for September, but mid-year enrollment is permitted: you pay from the months ago, when we started. Exact terms for your category will be confirmed at a consultation.
Looking for a school or kindergarten near your home, not online? This is a different SVOY service. Enrolling in a university or college — here.
