Need a car right away but don’t have a licence or residence permit yet
The most common situation. Almost everywhere there is a legal route through long-term rental or purchase as a non-resident — it’s just not immediately obvious.
I’m worried about buying a problem car
In an unfamiliar market, a seller’s history and reputation are invisible. Checking the history and inspecting before payment removes almost all the risk.
Month-to-month rental ends up costing more than buying
If you’re in the country for the long term, that’s usually the case. We calculate both options together with resale value — often buying and then selling works out cheaper than renting.
Need to bring a car from another country
In a neighbouring country prices can be noticeably lower. The calculation has to include customs clearance, registration, and delivery — otherwise the savings disappear.
