How it works in Cyprus
There are state schools with Greek-language instruction, private English-language schools, and Russian-speaking. State schools admit by place of residence; private ones — by its own set of rules and in advance. Foreign educational documents recognises the Ministry of Education.

- Address — this determines which state school you are assigned to
- The language and programme you choose
