How it works in Cyprus
There are state schools with Greek-language instruction, private English-language schools, and Russian-speaking. State schools admit by place of residence; private ones — by its own set of rules and in advance. Foreign educational documents recognises the Ministry of Education.
What we need from you to get started
- Report cards and school certificate with apostille and translation
- Address — this determines which state school you are assigned to
- The language and programme you choose
Where things most often go wrong
- —Approached a private school in August when enrollment was already closed
- —Expected a free English-language programme — at a state school instruction in Greek
- —Didn’t have documents recognised in advance and the child was admitted conditionally
Fees, processing times, and institutional requirements change several times per year, which is why they are not listed here: we verify and quote them as of the date of submission.
