How it works in Serbia
State schools accept by place of residence and teach in Serbian, there are private and international programs. Recognition of foreign documents about education recognition (nostrification) goes through the Ministry of Education.
What we need from you to get started
- Report cards and school certificate with apostille and certified interpreter translation
- Residence registration
- Determining whether you need credential recognition now or by graduation
Where things most often go wrong
- —Didn’t start the nostrification process in advance — it takes time, and without it your grade level can’t be confirmed
- —Expected the child to start school in Serbian straight away, without language support
- —The international school was chosen in August
Fees, processing times, and institutional requirements change several times per year, which is why they are not listed here: we verify and quote them as of the date of submission.
