How it works in Serbia
Banks open accounts by passport and personal number; for non-residents the terms separate. A sole trader (preduzetnik) is registered through the agency APR registries, and a company there too — the entrepreneur has a choice of tax regime taxation, which affects everything that follows.

Where things most often go wrong

- —Registered the business but did not open a current account or connect electronic submission
- —Assumed that a company grants status automatically — it provides grounds, and not the boravak itself
