How it works in Montenegro
State schools teach in Montenegrin and accept by place of residence, private and international options are few and concentrated in several cities. Foreign educational documents go through a nostrification procedure.
What we need from you to get started
- Report cards and school certificate with apostille and translation
- Residence registration
- Readiness for instruction in the local language if the school is state-run
Where things most often go wrong
- —Expected an international school near home, but there isn’t one in the city
- —Didn’t start the nostrification process in advance
- —Moved mid-school-year with no language buffer
Fees, processing times, and institutional requirements change several times per year, which is why they are not listed here: we verify and quote them as of the date of submission.
