I’m going where they speak French
A translator by your side — for two hours, half a day, or a full day
An appointment at the prefecture, with a doctor, at a notary’s office, or at a bank, where everything is decided in conversation — and the conversation is in a language you don’t know. Nearby sits with a person who interprets for you and on your behalf, explains exactly what ask, and helps fill in the form on the spot.
Who it suits. For those who have a specific appointment scheduled in Paris and already have a date. Not ’learn the language’ or ’translate the documents’ — show up and be understood.
What is included
- Consecutive interpretation throughout the entire meeting
- Switching between languages within a single session — no second specialist needed
- English ↔ Russian on a par with French: exhibitions, salons, business meetings
- A call before the meeting and a review of the documents sent in advance
- Help understanding exactly what is being asked and filling in forms on the spot
- Terminology breakdown: medical, legal, administrative
- Slot confirmation before payment: your time is held until the interpreter says it is free
- One flat price with no surprises: the interpreter’s fee and our commission are already included
What the package does not include
Paid separately and directly, with no markup from us.
- Certified translation of documents (traduction assermentée) — the translator does not hold this status and cannot certify a document for use in court or at a consulate
- Simultaneous interpretation in a booth — work is done consecutively, phrase by phrase
- Written document translation
- Government fees and institutional charges — paid directly
- Restaurant, tickets, and entry with evening escort
Minimum order is two hours at €95. One hour of interpretation costs the translator about two and a half hours of their time: getting around Paris takes roughly 45 minutes each way. The rate is flat, with no ’first hour premium’ — the minimum already covers the travel, so we saw no reason to charge for it twice.
Four hours or more counts as a half-day — 160 €, which is cheaper than buying the same hours individually. A package from us is always cheaper than hourly billing: if the numbers don’t add up in your favour, the price has been put together wrong.
Business format — negotiations, an exhibition, an official meeting — has its own rate: 125 € for two hours, 215 € for a half-day, 355 € for a full day. Evenings after 19:00 and weekends are priced as an event, not by the standard hourly rate.
The price is final. It includes the interpreter’s fee — paid directly to them at the appointment — and our fixed commission of 15 € per booking for arranging and scheduling, regardless of how many hours it takes. We show the breakdown in the quote before you book: there are no hidden charges at the end.
Cancelled more than 24 hours in advance — we refund everything. Less than 24 hours or no-show — that money goes to the interpreter for the time they reserved: they held the slot and had no way to fill it.

One visit: prefecture or OFII, doctor, notary, solicitor, bank appointment.
minimum order; each additional hour +40 €. Included: 80 € for the interpreter and 15 € our fee — one fee per order. One rate for all appointments — 40 € per hour
Up to four hours: a city tour, errand accompaniment, an exhibition, or an official meeting.
city tour — 160 €, business format — 215 €, trips outside Paris and surroundings — 275 €
Up to eight hours: an errand-and-waiting day, a full day at an exhibition, a day around Paris, excursions to Versailles and surroundings, a wedding with an evening reception.
city day — 295 €, trip with waiting — 315 €, business day — 355 €, Paris area excursions — 435 €
Prices are in euros and are all-inclusive. Each package has two parts, and we we make clear: the interpreter’s fee is paid by you directly to them at the meeting — and our fee for finding the service provider, we have checked it and are holding the slot for you. A doctor’s appointment costs 95 €: 80 € for the interpreter, 15 € for us. Minimum order — two hours, and this is not greed: a trip across Paris takes about 45 minutes each way; one hour of work costs the interpreter two and a half hours of time. Each additional hour is 40 €, and they go entirely to him; from four hours covers half a day for 160 €, which is cheaper than the same hours sold individually: a package is always better value than hourly billing. Our fee is a flat €15 per order, regardless of how many hours however long it lasts: we charge for the search and reservation, not as a percentage of turnover. Nothing beyond what’s shown in the listing will appear at checkout. ⚠️ Sworn document translation (traduction assermentée) — a separate matter service, and we don’t provide it.
Housing rental and purchase, documents, bank accounts and taxes, schooling, driving licence — 18 services in France, each has its own price.
