Your own business and taxes

Obtaining the status is easy. The hard part is not incurring a fine

Self-employment registration takes a few days. Then comes what catches most people off guard: strict reporting deadlines, automatic fines, and a tax authority that communicates in a language you haven’t fully learned yet. That’s why we guide you through the first few months step by step.

When to reach out

What people come to us with

Almost every question comes down to one thing: how to pay taxes correctly without overpaying out of ignorance.

I work for foreign clients

You need a status that both your bank and the immigration authority will accept. The choice of status affects your taxes and whether your residence permit will be renewed.

I’ve registered my status and don’t know what to file now

Reporting deadlines are strict and penalties are applied automatically. We take ownership of the calendar and send reminders in advance.

I don’t know where I’m a tax resident

The most expensive question of all. It’s calculated by days, centre of interests, and tax treaties between countries — and a mistake here costs more than any service we offer.

I own property but I am a non-resident

A separate declaration that people usually discover only after receiving a fine. We prepare and file it.

I want a company, not self-employment

We calculate what works better in your situation and are upfront about when incorporation means extra costs rather than savings.

What’s included

What we do

  • We review your situation before registration: which status suits you and what it will cost per year

  • We handle monthly reporting and tax calculations
  • We track deadlines and notify you in advance — not after a fine has been issued
  • We prepare and file annual tax returns — for residents and non-residents
  • We respond to tax authority inquiries and explain what they’re asking of you

Price by country

The same service in other countries

The figure in the button above is for Spain. Below is the same service for other countries, where pricing is calculated and transparent. Next to each figure is the name of the line item from the local price list: the single word ’residence permit’ covers very different documents depending on the country, and we prefer that you see exactly what you are comparing.

Taxes and government fees are calculated differently in every country — in some places are included in the price; elsewhere they are paid separately and directly. The exact details are stated on in the country showcase, via the link next to the price.

Transparent from the start

What we don’t do

  • —We don’t build tax-avoidance schemes. We work above board only — it’s your status on the line, and we won’t risk it.
  • —We don’t guarantee tax authority decisions: we prepare and defend your position, but the final call is theirs.
  • —We don’t take on backdated bookkeeping without first understanding what happened before we came in.

What comes next

Tell us your country, where your income comes from, and your approximate turnover — we’ll advise on the right status and what it will cost per year. If you’re also applying for a residence permit, look at the ’Self-Employed’ package: status registration and first filing handled together, with no handoffs between contractors.
