How it works in the UAE
A personal account is opened with an Emirates ID and address; a corporate account — only under registered company, and the bank looks at the type of activity and the country origin of funds. Companies operate either in a free zone or on the mainland, and these are fundamentally different regimes.

Where things most often go wrong
